Beck's Bolero
1曲目、 ＪＩＭＭＹ　ＰＡＧＥ 作曲の「Ｂｅｃｋ’ｓ　Ｂｏｌｅｒｏ」で決まり。感動的なオープニングです。
有名なクラブでのコンサートで、観客との距離は殆どないに等しく、また、その観客は、リッチな大人が多く、グラスを傍らに優雅な雰囲気を感じさせています。つまりは、このコンサートの意図が理解できるというものです。そういうことからも、和やかなムードの中で、ＪＥＦＦ　ＢＥＣＫ は、大変にリラックスしているようで、楽しみながら演奏しているのが伝わってきます。それは、何か微笑ましさを感じます。それから、彼のストラトキャスターもスリリングで、トリッキーなフレーズとサウンドを発していますが、このライブでの素晴らしい演奏は、かつて、「the Sultan of the Stratocaster」の異名をとるに相応しいと思うのです。また、後半に2曲演奏している ＥＲＩＣ　ＣＬＡＰＴＯＮ とのセッションは、往年のファンには、感嘆に値するのではないでしょうか。

熟成されたウィスキーを味わっているようだ。
ジェフ・ベックが、いい年して、こんなに楽しげに、無邪気にギターを弾いている姿は、ファンにとってとても嬉しいものです。特にＥ．クラプトンとブルースを演奏する姿は感慨深いものがあります。2人ともいい年のとり方をしています。「ナディア」「アデイ・イン・ザ・ライフ」など、ベックしか出せないフレーズです。2人ともこの年だから出せる味わい深いギターの演奏のようです。また、ベイスギターのタル・ウィルケンフェルドとベックは、まるで父と娘のようで、見ていて微笑ましい。観客席が広すぎず、アットホームな雰囲気です。ジミー・ペイジが観客席で万遍の笑みで拍手する場面がわずかですが見られます。ボーナストラックとして、インタビューに答えるベックが20分くらいあります。全22曲をきれいな画質で、音質も良く、すばらしいライブＤＶＤです。楽しめます。字幕はありますが日本語ではありません。リージョンフリーです。

若い姉ちゃんばかり集めて、ベックおじさんは得意満面の笑顔。
観るに堪えない。
画面を消して音だけ聞いていると、音質はかなりの低レベルだがそこそこ楽しめる・
そうか、僕は昔からベックが嫌いだったんだな。
今回初めて見た演奏風景。ひどすぎる。

傑作
素晴らしいと言う言葉だけしか表現できません。
内容は小さなライブハウスなので通常のコンサートと違った映像です。
クラプトンもゲスト参加あり。
ジェフベックが好きな方に絶対お勧めです。
インポートですが、リージョンフリーの為、問題なく再生出来ました。

輸入版ブルーレイ購入してみた
現在、PS3でブルーレイを見ています。ブルーレイはアメリカとリージョンが同じだそうで、ベックのライブ購入してみました。PS3で、問題なく見られます。（当然か？）
光ケーブルで、PS3からアンプにつないでいます。古いアンプですが、ドルビー5.1とDTSが聴けるので、、（特にDTSはいい音が出ていると思うが、ウーハーはドルビー5.1にした方が響く気がする。）、今までベックは、同じアンプでレコードとCDで聴いていたけど、このビデオで5.1の最高にいい音で聴けているのではないだろうか？ウーハーも喜んでいる？今まで映画の音ばかりに使われているみたいだったので、、。
映像はHDMIでフルハイビジョンテレビにつないであるので、十分きれいだと思う。通常のDVD版を見ていないので、どれくらいきれいなのかはわかりませんが、とにかくキレイですよ。
PS3、その他、ブルーレイ機を持っているのなら、ブルーレイ購入をお勧め。
